Ingeborg Ephraimsdotter - from Rakåsa Mellomgården to Minnesota, USA

Ephraim's oldest daughter Ingeborg was born on June 24, 1814 in Fölene Hovmansgården and died on Dec 24, 1893 in Carver County, MN, USA. She married Anders Pehrsson, born 1897 in Storegården in Fölene. They emigrated in 1860 with five of the seven children, the oldest son had emigrated already in 1856 with his wife and the oldest daughter stayed in Sweden at Mellomgården. 1. Lasse Andersson b. Feb 25, 1834 in Rakåsa Mellomgården, Fölene d. Nov 7, 1864 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, USA. Married Katrina (Bryngelsdotter) Stomberg b. 1833 in Eggvena, and they emigrated to America in 1956. Lasse was a soldier in the American Civil War and died in that war. He is buried in a National Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas . Their children: Andrew Peter b. 1856, Britta Stina b. 1857, August b. 1861 and Svante b. 1862.

1.1 Andrew Peter Stomberg b. Nov 25, 1856 d. Jan 26, 1941. Called himself his mother's maiden last name Stomberg instead of Anderson. Married to Charlotta Andersson b. 1857 in Eggvena. Children: (Linus) Alvin b. 1880, Edgar Gerhard b. 1882, Elli Lorinda b. 1884 and Esther Almina b. 1886.

2. Johanna Andersdotter b. Sep 9, 1837 in Rakåsa Mellomgården and died in Rakåsa Svensgården on March 30, 1917. She stayed in Sweden and lived on the farm Ingeborg and Anders left. She was married to Petter Johansson b. 1830 in Tarsled. They had the children: Johannes b. 1859, August b. 1862, Svante b. 1864, Lars Johan b. 1868, Herman b. 1874 and Carl Albert b. 1877.

2.2 August Peterson b. March 20, 1862 d. Aug 19, 1958 in Rapid City, South Dakota, USA. Emigrated to his grandparents in Minnesota and travelled on to South Dakota later where he worked at different farms and later on he bought his own. Was married to Olga Grafström at first and second marriage to Alice Putnam. Did not have any children.

2.4 Lars Johan Peterson b. Sep 22, 1868 d. Aug 18, 1958 in Rapid City, South Dakota, USA. Followed his brother to Minnesota and moved later to South Dakota where he worked as a cowboy. He called himself Lars John in America. Married Delena Belle Hibbs b. 1871 in Gladesville, West Virginia, USA. 7. Britta Stina Andersdotter b. July 25, 1854 d. 1885. Married to Jonas Bellquist. Child: Hanna b. 1881. Britta Stina died when Hanna was a little girl and her aunt Maja Stina adopted the little girl. Hanna never got married and had no children and two lines are gone with her.
